PRODUCT DEEP DIVE: Thermal Insulating Render
Building exteriors need to protect and insulate. In this edition of our product deep dive series, we explore thermal insulating render, a material that transforms traditional façade finishes into active insulation layers. Developed by EASI ZERo partner Sievert SE, this material brings new functionality to a familiar construction product.
What is it?
This specialized render incorporates biomineral-silica aerogel, developed by a start-up company, to create a highly insulating exterior finish. It actively contributes to the thermal performance of the building envelope, outperforming conventional renders.
